At twenty-two his dream came true when he went to the Newark School of Violin Making in England and he hence graduated. His curiosity and need for improvement pushed Pierre to travel. He joined an instrument makers workshop in Calgary (Canada) for two years to improve his restoration techniques of string quartet instruments. Then it was in San Francisco, for a period of 18 months, where he increased his knowledge of repairs and assembly.
